Working in our local community has been a core value of Cullen CM since inception. Over the years our team has participated in a number of organizations that foster a spirit of cooperation and support through direct involvement with missions that benefit those in need. Fall Fest at Perez Elementary
The Cullen CM team had a spooktacular time spreading Halloween cheer at Perez Elementary School's annual Fall Fest! Our team helped make it a night to remember for students and their families, including donating 100 pumpkins to the school, games, photo booths, and trick or treating!

STEM Week 2024
Cullen Construction Management volunteered with VOA Illinois (Volunteers of America) during STEM week. We introduced middle school students to the AEC field through an exciting JENGA game, where each block represented a different entity in project development, architecture, engineering, & construction.
We also took a field trip to a project site. The superintendent shared details about the new affordable housing project and shared his personal career journey. The students asked thoughtful questions and left feeling knowledgeable and proud of the new development in their neighborhood!
Care for Friends Hot Meal Service
Cullen Construction Management CARES! Our fabulous Community Involvement Committee volunteered for the hot meal service at Care For Friends in Chicago! Volunteer duties included hot meal service, clean up, organizing donations, and leading a game of Bingo! The Care For Friends team and guests were fantastic. A hot, sit-down breakfast meal and take-out lunch were served to everyone.
Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago
The Cullen CM team has a long history with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago.
Chris Hume served on the Board of Directors in the early years of the organization resulting in a strong passion for the work that RTMC does each year. The Cullen CM team, headed by HouseCo-Captains continue to partner with Lakeside Bank to renovate a home each year. There is significant planning leading up to the big build day and we are always thrilled with what the team is able to accomplish.
Girls in the Game — Leader to Leader Day
Girls in the Game, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization, champions a vision - where all
girls are empowered to be game changers,
recognizing that not all playing fields are equal.
Cullen CM proudly supports this mission through the Leader-to-Leader interviews and
job site tours. We educate young women
15-18 years old, and offer them firsthand exposure to the construction and real estate industry.
Habitat for Humanity
The Cullen CM team loves to give back utilizing their key skill sets - building! The Cullen CM team shares their expertise in events like Women Build Day, joining industry peers to install siding, roofing, drywall,
and paint.

Tony Bohr is currently serving on the associated Board for Habitat for Humanity Chicago. Tony enjoys organizing and attending the fundraising events, leading up to the building process.
The ACE Mentorship Program
The ACE name stands for Architecture, Construction and Engineering and The ACE program stands for mentoring high school students and inspiring them to pursue careers in design and construction.
Cullen CM team members have been involved as ACE mentors sharing their experience with high school students about the wonders of construction and engineering for over 8 years. We are proud to attend their Building Futures Event in 2025.
Annual Day of Giving
The Cullen CM "Annual Day of Giving" involves participating in GIVING TUESDAY. Cullen CM graciously donates to each team members chosen charity. In doing this, our team comes together for diverse causes helping charities in the Chicagoland area and beyond.
